METHODOLOGY : Administration management

We often forget that the success of a training program also depends on common administrative requirements that influence on the course development and its final result. We are talking, for example, about the canceling of sessions, the reports, the administration, the input and keeping of progress test results, the invoices and payment management, general data input, Internet password administration, and so on. Without a doubt, in this training program it's not only the teacher or the it. Administration, the Head of Studies and inlingua® direction play an important role.

Consequently, we can assume every acting proposal, sure of using the most adequate way for each case, acting by initiative and suggestion of your company's Training Direction, that may not be included in this document. And because we are systematic consultants, we will simplify your administrative work as much as possible, so that, even though we deal with an important number of participants, access to everything happening anytime may be immediate, transparent and quantifiable.

PERSONAL ASSESSMENT

inlingua® Valencia will issue reports, as well administrative (attending records, signing sheets and others), as teaching reports (progress tests, tutoring, other assessments) with the regular recurrence necessary for each student, besides the monthly classes hours report, with specific mention of the dates and class hours.

There is an initial level test that is done when you enroll, to evaluate the English knowledge of the arriving students and fit them in the best groups. This test is called "Classification test". It is a Multiple Choice test and includes 100 questions.

The progress assessment is a series of progress tests done throughout the course, each five units and is called "Progress test". These tests allow the teacher to incorporate new elements in the learning process, new stimuli resources. These resources must become measurable improvements, as well as allowing the Head of Studies to assess the course running, as well as the program's application and performance.

When a student does not reach the foreseen results, for whatever reasons, a tutor-time is established to elaborate a correcting plan. This way we make sure that the groups are still homogeneous and goals are being reached, individually or in groups.

At the end of each level, there is a final exam (Achievement Test) to obtain the Inlingua certificate.

There is, besides the internal final exam, a final external exam, voluntary, where you can validate your language knowledge in the business area and obtain the PLC certificate (Professional Languages Certificate)

TUTORING

Tutoring is not an isolated action. We understand tutoring as an educational acting that must be done in a collective and coordinated way, implying tutors, teachers and the center. Consequently, sessions and tutoring time will be adapted to the specific needs of each groups or student, as the needs arise.

To develop our tutoring action plan we have taken into account the following aspects:

• The need to know and value our students' personality.

• The need to develop learning skills and strategies.

• The need to stimulate and dynamize the class/group.

• The need to orient the personal and business development of the students, according to the individualization criteria.
